I started making mandalas by hand twenty some years ago. The about 15 years ago I found software that produces mandalas (much more complex yet faster) from photographs. Then I started using more sophisticated photo manipulation software to turn my photographs into abstract art or Mandalas (digitally enhances photography). I also took art courses from Phipps Conservatory (Botanical illustration) Carnegie Art Museum and University of Pittsburgh. I particularly like bold colors.
