PAULA K. SIEBIEDA (Bellaire, OH) has a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Ohio University Eastern, St. Clairsville campus, and was a substitute teacher for sixteen-years in Bellaire and Martins Ferry City Schools. She also worked a while ago as a nursing-home worker for House of the Good Shepherd and at Kroger’s in St. Clairsville, OH. Having taken a few college art-courses, she is pretty-much a self-taught professional painter from a young-age, working mostly with canvas, oils and acrylics. Having met Gina in the Steubenville Art Association, the two have been friends for ten-years and have exhibited closely in the same locations such as the Tuscarawas County Center for the Arts, Pittsburgh Society of Artists and Pittsburgh Watercolor Society member shows, the North Hills (Pittsburgh) Art Center Shows, Oglebay Institute Stifel Fine Art Center, Cranberry (PA) Municipal Building, McMurray (PA) Shows, and the Hoyt Member Shows; all groups where they are members. She has had work four-times in the Ohio State Fair Cox Fine Art Center Professional Exhibit and three-times in the Hoyt Art Center Regionals, New Castle, PA. She has also exhibited in the prestigious Erie Art Museum Spring Exhibit and is currently exhibiting in the Spinning Plate Gallery in the Pittsburgh Society of Artist’s Annual Exhibition, where she won one of the four juror’s awards a few-years back. She was accepted once into the Pittsburgh Watercolor SocietyInternational Aqueous. She resides at home with her mother Freida who will turn 100 in mid-October, and also with her two-cats.
