The Arc of Washington County provides advocacy, assurance, assistance, and accessibility to ensure active involvement for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We offer assistance in locating resources and community services for individuals and their families. 

With your help, we can assist many individuals and families, sponsor training, host workshops, and actively work with other Arc’s to advocate for support and services for individuals with disabilities. 

We are celebrating our first year in our new space in Canonsburg! In our “Connecting through Inspiration” Art Gallery and Studio, we offer inclusive creative arts experiences for people with disabilities as well as other members of the community to come together and enjoy the arts. The opportunities we have had to increase awareness, connect people, and share a common interest have been amazing. Within our art gallery, artists of all abilities from the community can display and sell their work. To date, we have sold close to 50 pieces of artwork, with The Arc of Washington County receiving a portion of the proceeds for our advocacy efforts.
