Kathy Meyer
I am a long time resident of the Canonsburg area, raising my family of six children here. When my husband retired, courtesy of Washington steel closing, we spent summers volunteering at state parks all over the country. We’ve been from Alaska to Maine, to Florida, and states in between. Before I began painting, my art was expressed in fiber — I made quilts, wall hangings, and clothing. An art class in our Florida RV resort got me going on painting as I do now. I love to paint old structures, as I love to imagine their history.
