Kata Bakos

My name is Kata Bakos Short. I was born and raised in a small village of only 700 souls in Hungary. I moved to the U.S. in 2019 and have been living in McDonald with my Husband, Aaron. 


I’ve always enjoyed capturing and eternalizing special moments in life, even if it’s only a breathtaking sunrise or a perfect water droplet on a flower petal. However, the first time I held a digital camera was only a few years ago. When the lockdowns happened in 2020, like many people, I looked for a hobby and that hobby eventually turned into a small business. In the past three years, I have taken accredited courses and attended workshops to learn all I can about digital photography. 


What I enjoy most about photography is capturing candid moments and honest expressions in black and white, but I also love nature and animal photography. I get a great deal of satisfaction when I offer my photographical perspective to the public and it is well received. I do hope you’ll enjoy my artwork as much as I have enjoyed creating them!
