Diane Murray

Diane Murray studied drawing, composition, ceramics, and design at San Jose State College and has taken many workshops in in watercolor, acrylics, photography, oil and pastel. She taught middle and high school students in Pittsburgh Public Schools for over 30 years and used art to involve her students in writing and reading. She is skilled in desktop publishing and photography, as well as Corel Draw, Photoshop, Adobe Premier and Lightroom. Currently, she teaches and does demos in PanPastels, watercolor, and using an iPad for art.She is active in many local art groups. Diane is president of Whitehall Arts, and she sets up art classes for South Arts. She also is a member of Pittsburgh Watercolor Society, Pittsburgh Pastel Artists League, and McMurray Art League. She has won various awards for her paintings in watercolor and pastel.
