Arc Human Services provides positive behavior support strategies based on the person’s Behavior Support Plan (BSP). Behavioral Support Services are designed to assist persons who exhibit behavior that is extremely challenging and frequently complicated by medical or mental health factors. We provide consultation services for the person and their support team. The coordination of the delivery of Behavioral Support Services are included in the person’s residential and day activity settings. Arc Human Services utilizes proactive strategies to foster the person’s positive behavior.
24 hours on call Nursing Support:
Nursing support is provided for every person and support team within Arc Human Services. Registered Nurses are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to provide guidance with medical issues, medication management and emergency care if needed. Our 24-hour on call system helps the person, the family and the support team receive the care they need, when they need it. The Arc team of RN’s are eager to help with calls to physician’s office, coordinating and organizing appointments when needed and on-site evaluation of health concerns.
Arc of Washington provides self-advocacy groups that unite to speak to others about statewide issues and topics that are important to them, create community awareness, and promote inclusion for all.
Arc Human Services Employment Department’s mission is to maximize the independence of adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Through our programs and services,individuals are able to be more independent and can increase their level of social, vocational, emotional and educational functioning. We offer many services, such as job finding, enclaves, and support for community jobs. Our team of job coaches and employment specialists take a person centered approach when working with our clients and community partners.
