Edward J. Picchiarini

Chief Executive Officer
Ed has been associated with Arc Human Services/Arc of Washington County in various capacities for over 20 years. He has been in the human services field for more than 37 years, beginning the journey in a direct care position and ultimately taking on various leadership opportunities throughout the years, including his most recent roles as a consultant for Edward Picchiarini and Associates and as the Executive Director of The Provider Alliance. Ed received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Waynesburg College and a Master’s Degree in Public Management from the H. J. Heinz III School of Public Policy and Management at Carnegie Mellon University. He served on the Board of Directors at the Greensburg YMCA and the Board of Trustees at Torrance State Hospital. He is associated with the ODP Financial Workgroup and the ODP Information Sharing and Advisory Committee.
Joseph P. Scrip, Sr.,
Chief Administrative Officer
Joe has been associated with Arc Human Services/Arc of Washington County for 21 years, serving as Chief Financial Officer from 2000 to 2017 until he accepted the position of CAO. He has spent 26 years working in the fiscal departments of several non-profit agencies; advancing from Accountant to Patient Account Supervisor to Chief Financial Officer. Joe received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management-Accounting from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master’s Degree in Professional Accountancy (MPA) from West Virginia University.
​He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with the West Virginia Board of Accountancy. He is associated with The Provider Alliance Financial Workgroup; West Virginia University Alumni Association; and University of Pittsburgh Alumni Association. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants; PA Institute of Certified Public Accountants; and the West Virginia Society of Certified Public Accounts.
Carol J. Grant

Chief Program Officer of Arc Human Services

Carol joined the Arc Human Services Team in September 2020, bringing 40 years of operational experience in the provision of support services to individuals with disabilities and their families. Carol obtained a BS in Special Education from the Pennsylvania State University, and obtained her MBA from Point Park University. Carol has enjoyed a variety of roles throughout her career, starting as a direct support professional, various supervisory roles, Compliance Officer, Chief of Staff and advancing to Chief Operating Officer with oversight of multiple business lines, all serving individuals with disabilities. Carol believes that the key to a successful business is the use of business intelligence to strategically drive decision making. Carol serves as a board member for The Kristopher King Foundation, and enjoys motorcycling, fishing, reading and travel.

John Eyth

Chief Financial Officer

John has been associated with Arc Human Services/Arc of Washington County since 2017, serving as Chief Financial Officer. He has worked for more than 25 years as a Controller and Chief Financial Officer in both for-profit and non-profit organizations. For more than a dozen years, John has worked as a Chief Financial Officer for several providers of Intellectual Disabilities Services. He received a Business Administration Degree in Accounting from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy. John is also a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Financial Manager (CFM), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified in Strategy and Competitive Analysis (CSCA) and Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA). Craig D. Douglass

Chief Technology Officer

Craig joined the Arc Human Services team as the Chief Technology Officer in April 2023, developing and guiding the organization’s technology-first strategy and collaboratively implementing change to ensure the success of the organization’s colleagues, persons supported, communities, and partners. Craig brings nearly 30 years of experience in Human Services leadership. Craig started his career in human service in direct care. Through the years, he has advanced to various leadership roles supporting healthcare and behavioral healthcare organizations, including Compliance Officer, Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Program Officer. During his career, he has had responsibility for ensuring strategic alignment of clinical and administrative operations, designing and implementing population-based healthcare services, and building inclusive technologies in supports. 

Denise Jones

Chief People Officer

Denise has been associated with Arc Human Services/Arc of Washington County for over 20 years, serving as Director of Human Resources since 2015. Denise has served in many capacities in Arc Human Services, beginning as a Residential Direct Care Employee in 1998 and advancing to Residential Office Manager, Human Resources Generalist, Human Resources Training Coordinator, Assistant Human Resources Director, and Director of Human Resources. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Professional Studies in Leadership and Development from Duquesne University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She holds SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications. She is associated with The Provider Alliance Human Resources Workgroup and is a member of the Pittsburgh Human Resources Association, Southwestern Pennsylvania Human Resources Organization, and the Society for Human Resources Management.

Darrilyn McCrerey

Director of Advocacy, The Arc of Washington County

Darrilyn began her career in the Human Services field in 2000 after graduating from Mercyhurst College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art Therapy. She came to Arc Human Services in 2005, where she began as a Therapeutic staff support and transitioned into a role as a supervisor. Darrilyn had been involved in various roles in the company prior to taking on her role as the Director of Advocacy through The Arc of Washington County in November 2017. She is passionate about the Self-Advocacy program, where the main focus is to encourage and empower people with disabilities to know and understand their rights and to effectively use their voice. Darrilyn is also passionate about educating the community and helping families advocate for their own family member through education and awareness.

Grishma Solanki

Director of Mental Health and Clinical Operations

Grishma has worked at Arc Human Services for 12 years in various capacities. Graduating from Wheeling Jesuit University, she received her Bachelor’s in Psychology and her Master’s in Clinical Psychology. Beginning in 2006 as the Therapeutic Support Staff for the Children’s Program, Grishma also worked as a Behavioral Specialist as well as the Coordinator of Specialized Supports and Training. Grishma’s mission is to be a part of AHS, providing quality recovery orientated services; promoting recovery, self-determination and community inclusion for people experiencing mental health or addiction challenges.

Cortney Rech, PHR

Director of Human Resources

Cortney joined Arc Human Services in 2019. She is responsible for the development and management of human resources needs including recruitment and employee relations. With over 20 years in the human resources field, Cortney brings expertise in talent acquisition, reward and recognition and organizational and professional development. Cortney is a cum laude graduate of West Virginia University. She holds a Professional of Human Resources Certification (PHR) from the HR Certification Institute. Cortney is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Pittsburgh Human Resources Association (PHRA).

Brent Troyan

Director of Community Based Services

Brent Troyan obtained his BA Degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s College of Health and Human Services in 2007. Brent has over 15 years’ experience working with children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He is certified as a Discovery and Customized Employment Professional, a Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP), and is certified under the Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators (ACRE). Brent joined our Community Based Services Program as the Employment Director in August 2018.
